Bee Tree Photography LLC is owned and operated by me, Krista Whiting. With a Bachelor’s degree in Art History and a Master’s degree in Education, I’ve spent years studying the masters of composition and light—an influence that shapes every image I create.
My journey has taken me through several meaningful careers, including registered respiratory practitioner, college instructor, and elementary school teacher. Today, I’m proud to be an award-winning maternity and newborn photographer.
As a mother of three lively and unique children, I understand just how quickly these moments pass. My goal is to create timeless images that preserve the beauty, connection, and emotion of your family’s story.

Our Studio
Our studio is tucked back into the gorgeous Napa hills of Northern California (on the Fairfield side - between Vacaville and Vallejo). Its location is perfectly centralized between Napa, Sacramento, and San Francisco. Enjoy the views of the vineyards on your drive in - just watch for the deer and turkey that frequent our driveway as they make their way up and down from the Green Valley golf course to the highlands every day!
We have the privilege of having our studio beside our own private residence with a separate entrance. All sessions are done in our studio. With our professional (and LARGE) lighting setup created exclusively for newborn babies and another for maternity in addition to our extensive prop collection, traveling to clients’ homes is not an option. Maternity, Newborn, and Milestone Sessions are all-inclusive, so take advantage of the variety of props, wraps, and outfits that we offer! My client closet for maternity sessions also include couture gowns for you to choose from in addition to large bombshell feather wings.
